Due to the recent COVID outbreak and lockdown, Ithaca Pool will not be opening tomorrow as planned. A lot of work is done over the break and in the weeks leading up to re-opning. Some of these tasks have not been possible with the lockdown and key Pool staff having to isolate for 14 days as potential ‘close contacts’ .

We are working with Brisbane City Council to determine a new opening date that will allow for appropriate preparation time – to heat the pool etc, and also minimize wasted efforts and resources, should Brisbane face another lockdown before our Summer Season arrives.

We’ll keep you posted and hope to see you back at the pool very soon. At this stage, re-opening will be between August 23 and September 6. Please follow @ithacapoolaus, or check the website for updates.
